Favorite Movies: | Well I'll start with my obvious animation greats. As of yet, Pixar can do no wrong in the story or execution front, so until they do, anything they do is golden. The Iron Giant is a phenomenal heartfelt story that the box office did no justice to. As for humor, I can't go wrong throwing in the Emperor's New Groove, it's been left on repeat more than once on an all nighter for school. |
Favorite Authors: | On the fun end of the spectrum, I'm a fantasy and sci fi fan. I've read the Harry Potter series, Chronicles of Narnia and Tolkein more times than I can remember. On the thinking end of things I'd have to say I like older books. C.S. Lewis, Calvin Miller, and George MacDonald are my favorites. I like to read a broad spectrum though, sometimes dipping into different streams of thinking just to keep my mind sharp. |
Favorite Music: | Strangely enough for an Okie, I'm fond of Appalachian sounds and blue grass. I could listen to Rich Mullins wail on that hammer dulcimer all day. Other than that I lean towards Andrew Peterson, Caedmon's Call, Andy Gullahorn, Nickel Creek, Sting, Coldplay or U2. |
Favorite Drink: | This is an easy one, Starbucks Mocha Coconut Frappuccino. However, it's not so easy to get. They stopped offering them on the menu in the summer of 2004. But if you ask nicely, they'll still make them. The only thing their missing is the toasted coconut, alas... Now for a short update, Starbucks no longer carries coconut syrup so even my imitation Mocha Coconut Frappuccino is no longer a possibility. Now where can I spend 4 dollars for a drink that lasts 10 mintues....:) |
